Welcome to Priory Gate Practice located on the first floor of City of Coventry Health Centre 2 Stoney Stanton Road Coventry CV1 4FS.
Dr Paul Andrew Beaumont
Dr Beaumont has retired from Priory Gate after more than 30 years working at the Practice. Drs Helen Tyrrell and Claire Kelly the remaining Partners thanked Dr Beaumont for his commitment to Priory Gate and our Patients. The staff and Doctors all wish Dr Beaumont a long and happy retirement.
Dr Richard Woods will shortly be joining the Practice. He is coming from a Surgery in South Warwickshire.
Please DO NOT come to the surgery unless you are invited to do so by the Doctor or Nurse.
Priory Gate Doctors will contact all patients by telephone to check whether or not it is safe for you to come to the building.
We are now booking a number of nurse and midwife appointments so please contact the surgery to enquire as to availability. Unfortunately ear-syringing is not yet available as it is deemed to be a high-risk procedure.
If sick notes are needed they will be sent either electronically or in the post - remember these are not needed until after 7 days of sickness.
Please follow the link below if you have a current dental emergency. Dental surgeries will be telephone triaging all requests currently and are not offering routine appointments
If medication is needed please contact the POD on 02476 246072. Ideally all medication can be sent electronically so please identify a local pharmacy to prevent you having to attend the surgery.
In addition you can send a text to the POD and they will phone you back. The Text number is 07903 586972. Please write Repeat and Priory Gate Practice and the POD team will phone you back to review your medication.
If you are experiencing fever, viral symptoms or loss of taste or smell you must stay at home for at least seven days. If your condition deteriorates or you become short of breath please contact 111 on-line https://111.nhs.uk/covid-19
COVID tests can be booked on-line too.
Do not attend Priory Gate Practice or a Walk In Centre or Hospital if you are experiencing the above symptoms
All doctors surgeries have been advised NOT TO provide letters to patients for an exemption for the wearing of face coverings. If patients feel they are unable to wear a face covering. If you feel that as a result of your health, age or equality reasons you are unable to wear a mask you can mention this to the shop or transport provider.
